In 1968 Stu Scharf poured his rage and despair into Give a Damn, a masterpiece of 1960s pop production. Many other Jewish songwriters followed Dylan's lead and populated pop with intelligent and musically sophisticated protest songs. Through recordings and rare vintage video clips, discover how they influenced the direction of popular music.

Jeff is a leading figure in American Jewish music. He and Dan Freelander formed Kol BSeder in 1974. Their songs are recorded and sung around the world. Jeff graduated HUC-JIR in 1980, served congregations in New York, Haifa, and Chicago, and is cantor of Temple Sinai, Sharon, MA. He is on the faculty of the School of Jewish Music at Hebrew College
