Together we will examine common ways of communicating with parents, explore teacher-parent communication, gain tools for self-reflection and identify and develop strategies to enhance the quality of the communication through small and large group work. In addition we will generate and apply specific statements and open-ended questions using ideas and models presented from scenarios and current classroom examples and work interactively to practice new framing, observing, listening and questioning skills.
