A multi-media presentation of my recent trip to Sankor, Ghana, with the Young Rabbis Delegation of American Jewish World Service. "Lessons from Ghana" includes reflections on how we can understand our own privilege as Americans, in contrast with the vast majority of people on this planet, what it means to "help" and how we can most effectively work for economic and social justice in a Jewish context.


Toba Spitzer

Toba Spitzer is the spiritual leader of Congregation Dorshei Tzedek in West Newton, and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Massachusetts Board of of Rabbis. A rabbi, educator, writer and activist for peace and social justice, Rabbi Spitzer has a life goal of bowling in all 50 states. She is currently up to 31.
