The Palestinian-Israeli Conflict. Methods for teaching the value of Empathy.

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Many people try to teach the Palestinian-Israeli conflict through debate points and arguments over fact. In Habonim Dror, I try to teach children to understand multiple narratives and competing claims. My goal is for them to be able to empathize with both Israelis and Palestinians in the future. I will go over a few methods that can be useful in teaching children the values of empathy, respect and love for all in relation to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
