Melanie joined J Street after working as a volunteer, helping to found J Street Boston's Young Professionals and J Street U Harvard. Previously, she was executive director of author Jonathan Kozols educational nonprofit, the Cambridge Institute for Public Education. She has a BA from Washington University, St. Louis.
